PCAUSA BackgroundPrinting Communications Associates, Inc. ("PCA" or "PCAUSA") is a software development and consulting company founded in 1988 by Thomas F. Divine, and incorporated in the State of Georgia in July of 1992. PCAUSA's initial development focus was on providing AppleTalk network solutions on non-AppleTalk platforms, including DOS and Windows workstations and PostScript print servers. This work involved development of:
In 1996 PCAUSA began a transition from consulting to licensing of specialized network development toolkits for the Microsoft Windows platforms. PCAUSA's Rawether for Windows product was introduced in June of 1996, and has been successfully used by many companies as a starting point for development of a wide variety of products.
Our MissionPCAUSA's mission is to provide specialized network software development toolkits for the Microsoft Windows platforms. We view the products that we offer as "enabling technology". Our customers have the bright functional ideas; we provide samples that assist in turning these ideas into functional products. These toolkits consist of the source code to a collection of network-oriented VxD's(95/98/Me), kernel-mode device drivers (NT/2000/XP), DLL's and associated test applications. There is no recurring royalty for distribution of your products in executable form. Although these samples are basically annotated "shells" which, with stubs for the functionality which you must provide, they can be compiled "out-of-the-box" and installed as working components of the Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows NT or Windows 2000 network architecture. Some of PCAUSA's current products have been shipping since June of 1996, and it's now safe to say that they are more than just "samples". The PCAUSA codebase provides a working, well established, performance oriented foundation for development of specialized commercial networking products.
Our ProductsPCAUSA continues to expand and enhance its product offerings in the area of specialized network software development toolkits for the Microsoft Windows platforms. These include:
Our CustomersHere is a list of a few of our more recognizable customers. Each has licensed one or more PCAUSA products. In most cases PCAUSA is not aware of the final use of its products by these customers, and the presence of a company in this list does not signify or imply that any company endorses the use of any PCAUSA product.
